Chimpel works in specialist leathers — ostrich shin, crocodile belly, lambskin and cowhide — chosen hide by hide and matched to a pattern before a single cut is made.
Certain skins carry export restrictions and require a CITES permit, so a number of pieces are available for local delivery only. Those clauses are carried through from the studio's own records onto each product page.
